Everything you need to set up, use and customize your Oli v1.
Getting started
- Turn it on. Slide the switch on the underside toward the circle (○).
- Set it flat on your desk for a couple of seconds. The mouse uses this moment to learn what "flat" is, which the tilt layers are measured from.
- Pair it. Open your computer's Bluetooth settings and select Oli v1. There's no PIN, no dongle and no driver to install.
Charging
Plug the mouse into any USB power source with a USB-C cable. You can keep using it wirelessly while it charges.
Sleep
After a while without use, the Oli v1 goes to sleep to save battery. Move it or press any button to wake it. It reconnects on its own.
Tilt layers
Roll the mouse onto its side and the buttons take on new jobs. There are two layers, depending on how far you tilt.

Presets
The Oli v1 stores three complete button setups, called presets. Each can map the buttons and tilt layers differently. For example, you could keep one for everyday use and one for a particular app.
To switch presets, hold Top Square + Bottom Square together (not the Lever) for about 1.5 seconds. The light blinks and the mouse buzzes once, twice or three times to tell you which preset is now active. Your Bluetooth connection stays up while you switch.

Customize
Use the free Oli configurator to change what each button does, set cursor and scroll speed, and set up your three presets. Nothing to install.
- Visit oli-io.com/configurator in Chrome or Edge on a computer.
- Plug your Oli v1 in with a USB-C cable, then click Connect. Your current settings load automatically.
- Choose a preset (1–3), adjust the button actions, cursor speed and scroll speed, then click Save to Mouse.
- Unplug and use it wirelessly. Settings are saved on the mouse itself, so they go with it to any computer.
Accessory grip
The accessory grip snaps into place from the side. Its small tab seats into a recess on the back portion of the shaft, which stops it rotating.
With the grip fitted, your lower three fingers sit a little further out, for a slightly more open hand position. Try it both ways and use whichever feels better.
Troubleshooting
The mouse won't connect or reconnect
Make sure the switch is on and the battery isn't flat, then move the mouse to wake it. If it still won't connect, open your computer's Bluetooth settings, remove (forget) Oli v1, then pair it again as a new device.
Tilt layers switch at the wrong angle
The mouse learned "flat" while it wasn't flat. Switch it off, set it flat on your desk, and switch it back on.
The battery isn't charging
Check that the power switch is on. The battery can't charge with the switch off, even though the light still blinks while plugged in.
Using more than one computer
The Oli v1 remembers up to three paired devices. Pairing a fourth replaces the one paired longest ago.
The configurator can't find the mouse
Use Chrome or Edge on a desktop or laptop (other browsers don't support the connection it needs), and use a USB-C cable that carries data. Some cables only carry power.
